Back in December I had a giveaway for a free session to a family that was in need of a smile. The winning family was the Lupo Family. If you missed my post on why they were selected you can read it here. Since the winter was a snowy mess, we decided to schedule the session for the much more beautiful and warm, Spring.
Last weekend I finally had the pleasure of meeting this lovely family. The smiles were abundant and the location was gorgeous. I have been wanting to do a session at this location for awhile and I was so excited when they agreed that it sounded like a lot of fun.
The Lupo kids were not shy at all and were both cooperative and full of ideas on where we should take pictures. As we moved around the area, they collected flowers for their mom and before the session was over she had a beautiful bouquet.
It was such a joy to be able to give them this session and I hope they will cherish these images for many years to come.

Lindeblad Family Preview (Philadelphia Area Family Photographer)
My last session in the DC area was with a lovely new family I had never met or worked with before. That is always fun because I love meeting new people. The session was being held at the grandparents' home because of their fantastic property. Oddly enough, because we all know how small this world can be, the grandfather taught for 40 years in Miami where I both grew up and taught for 2 years, and we had fun talking about people and places we had in common.
The girls had fun playing outside during our session, especially in the shade of the beautiful trees on the property. I love some of the playful moments that I was able to capture. It is awesome when families have fun together and I just get to be a bystander with a camera.

Dufresne/Smith Family Preview (Philadelphia Area Family Photographer)
Here is another session from my time in the DC area. This shoot allowed me to catch up with another friend from college and have the opportunity to meet her beautiful family.
We met at a working mill and the kids had a great time running around and exploring the grounds. At times we were certain someone would end up in the water, but fortunately that didn't play out as part of the day.
The four kids in the pictures are cousins and thoroughly enjoyed being around each other. It was a fun, playful, laid back session and it was really wonderful to see my friend again.

Richardson Family Preview (Philadelphia Area Children's Photographer)
One of the fun perks of my job is traveling to see friends and having the honor of taking pictures of their beautiful families. Last weekend I was able to reconnect with two friends from college and do just that. Lucky me!
The first was a friend lovingly referred to as "Fusco" during our college days. It was her last name then and many of us had nicknames of that kind, including me. It was so wonderful to see her and get to meet her family. She has three handsome boys and a baby girl that is pure sweetness. What a joy it was to photograph all of them. I can hardly wait for her to see her preview, so I will keep this short.

Greeves Family - Take Two (Philadelphia Area Children's Photographer)
Last weekend I returned to the DC area to do some photo shoots for people I know in there. It was a gorgeous weekend and certainly one of the highlights was getting to see this little beauty and how much bigger she has gotten since I took pictures of her and her parents back in the fall. You can see that session here.
We met early Saturday morning at the Jefferson Memorial. She was having a great time crawling and scooting around. What a happy baby! She was great entertainment for the folks coming to see the memorial.
It was wonderful to get to spend time with her and her family again. Happy Birthday to Miss "A" who will turn 1 in just a couple weeks. She will certainly be a beautiful, sweet birthday girl.
